Aspen Home Health & Hospice Awarded CHAP Accreditation

3/1/2011

Idaho Falls, ID

Community Health Accreditation Program, Inc., (CHAP) announced today that Aspen Home Health & Hospice has been awarded CHAP accreditation under the CHAP Home Health and Hospice Standards of Excellence.

CHAP accreditation demonstrates that Aspen Home Health & Hospice meets the industry's highest nationally recognized standards. Rigorous evaluation by CHAP focuses on structure and function, quality of services and products, human and financial resources, and long term viability. “We seek accreditation because we want to make evident to our patients, their families and the citizens of Eastern Idaho at large, our commitment to achieving the highest standards of care, not just the minimums required by state licensure and federal certification,” says Derek Collette, MBA, The Aspen Group's Regional Vice-President. “CHAP Accreditation is voluntary, and is sought only by those seeking to stand out and visibly demonstrate exceptional care and service. We view obtaining CHAP accreditation as another step toward maintaining excellence.”

About The Aspen Group: Headquartered in Idaho Falls, ID, The Aspen Group is dedicated to providing patients the highest level of skilled nursing, rehabilitative, palliative and hospice care available in the most cost-effective environment, the patient's own home.
